Product Family Description

  • Narrow Bandwidths for Gas and Solid State Lasers
  • Broad Bandwidths for Diode Laser Clean-Up
  • High Transmission, Deep Blocking

TECHSPEC® Hard Coated Laser Clean-Up Filters provide high transmission of designated wavelengths with deep blocking of unwanted wavelengths. Designed for use with high performance laser systems, TECHSPEC Hard Coated Laser Clean-Up Filters feature hard, durable coatings on a single substrate to ensure reliable performance over extended lifetimes. Optical filters with narrow bandwidths of 3 – 5nm are ideal for eliminating noisy spontaneous emission from laser sources, while filters with broad bandwidths are designed for use with diode wavelengths to eliminate background noise when detecting the laser source in order to improve the system’s signal-to-noise ratio. TECHSPEC Hard Coated Laser Clean-Up Filters feature maximum blocking within a few nanometers of the laser wavelength, making these laser filters ideal for the most demanding laser-based instrumentation or applications.
