Longpass and Dichroic Edge Filters are designed to transmit all wavelengths beyond a particular wavelength on the spectrum. Longpass and Dichroic Edge Filters use a range of substrates or coatings to determine the transmission or rejection efficiencies. Dichroic Filters possess a very narrow transmission width.
