USB Cameras are used in a variety of microscopy applications. USB Cameras are cameras that use the USB interface for data transfer. Additionally, separate power supplies are often not required unless the USB Camera is being used with a low-power USB source, such as a laptop computer. USB Cameras are available in USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 interfaces. USB 2.0 Cameras offer a data transfer rate of up to 480Mb/s. USB 3.0 provide the plug-and-play functionality of USB 2.0, but with much higher data transfer rates.
