Product Details

  • OD 6 Light Blocking Capability for Minimizing Stray Light
  • Anti-Static Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Construction
  • Ultra-Thin (80µm), Flexible, and Easy to Cut to Size

CARBONFEATHER ™ Light Blocking Low Reflection Black Films are ultra-black PET-based optical films designed to minimize stray light and reduce unwanted reflections in precision optical systems. These lightweight films feature excellent light absorption characteristics, low surface gloss, and anti-static performance for demanding imaging and photonic applications. Available in multiple square and circular geometries, they can be easily integrated into a wide range of prototyping and production environments. CARBONFEATHER ™ Light Blocking Low Reflection Black Films also offer optimized surface friction properties, making them well-suited for moving optical assemblies and compact instrument designs. These films are ideal for imaging systems, camera modules, LiDAR, analytical instrumentation, low-power laser systems, apertures, shutters, and other precision optical assemblies.

Note: When handling these films, it is advised to wear gloves, as finger oils can leave marks on the surface.
